TVS Draken Siap Masuk Jalur Produksi

Motorsport niked TVS Draken hasil kolaborasi produsen motor asal India, TVS dan BMW Motorrad dikabarkan akan segera masuk jalur produksi. Hal ini diperkuat dengan beredarnya beberapa dokumen pengiriman part oleh BMW Motorrad ke India dengan kode K03.

Dalam dokumen pengiriman part dari BMW Motorrad tersebut ada beberapa part yang dikirim ke India, diantaranya seperti frame, knalpot dan mesin. Tapi kemungkinan besar dari beberapa kalangan menilai bahwa pengiriman part tersebut akan digunakan sebagai bahan uji coba di R&D TVS India.

Sementara berbicara tentang jantung pacunya, TVS Draken akan dipersenjatai mesin berkapasitas 250 cc, 1-silinder, 4-valve, DOHC dengan liquid cooled. Mesin TVS Draken ini diklaim mampu memuntahkan tenaga hingga 38.50 BHP pada 12.000 rpm dengan torsi 23 Nm pada 9.500 rpm.

KTM-Bajaj Auto Akan Luncurkan Sportbike Terbarunya

Pabrikan Motor KTM (Austria) dan Bajaj Auto (India) kembali membuat kejutan dalam dunia Otomotif, dikabarkan kedua pabrikan motor tersebut akan melahirkan sportbike terbarunya untuk kelas 250cc dengan basis industry sportbike KTM RC8.

KTM RC8 akan mengusung desain body Full fairing yang sporty dan agresif dan kemungkinan sportbike 250cc ini akan mengusung teknologi yang sama dengan RC8.  Dimana RC8 (R) sendiri menggunakan mesin kapasitas 1148cc, 2 silinder, 4-stroke, 75° V-twin, berpendingin air yang mampu memuntahkan tenaga sebesar 175.39 hp pada 10250 rpm dan torsi puncak mencapai 127 Nm pada 8000 rpm, sedangkan untuk RC250R kita akan mendapat gambaran tentang spesifikasinya jika melihat dari RC250R Moto3 racer yang dirancang untuk arena balap, tapi spesifikasi RC250 akan sedikit dibawahnya. RC250R Moto3 racer sendiri dibekali mesin 249.5cc, single silinder, 4-stroke, DOHC yang mampu menghasilkan tenaga 50 hp pada 13.000 rpm serta torsi puncak sekitar 28 Nm pada 11.000 rpm.

Menurut rencana KTM dan Bajaj Auto akan meluncurkan RC8 versi 250 paling lambat pada awal tahun 2014 dan akan dipasarkan pertama kali untuk pasar Asia, jadi kemungkinan besar juga akan diluncurkan di Tanah Air
